Compressor Cylinder

Compressor Cylinder:
Cylinder is casting or forged parts from nodular iron or cast iron.
The surface of the cylinder bores are ion-nitride to harden them and increase the bore wearing resistance.
There are no water jackets in the cylinders because of the shorter stroke.
The cylinders and cylinder lines both can be replaced.
All Compressor cylinders are hydrostatically tested prior to delivery. The cylinders are tested at a minimum of 1 hour at 1.5 times the rated
MAWP(Maximum Allowable Working Pressure) of the cylinder .Pressure must be maintained and no leaks observed for a period of 30 minutes.
